Testimonial1
The great moment Spanish middle and long distance are currently enjoying coincides with the arrival of two excellent friends: Mariano Garcia-Verdugo and Luis Miguel Landa. They have, with constant work, with the occasional error but getting it right most of the time, contributed to the golden decade in Spanish athletics

Last 23rd February, at the age of 55, I ran my 18th Marathon in Seville. I still remember my first Marathon in Madrid 12 years ago, where I finished a broken man in 4:40 and we have being improving to this one, where I ran my personal best of 2:47:48, hugely satisfying!!!! The person responsible for guiding me to this fantastic result is Mariano Garcia-Verdugo. 7 or 8 years ago I bought a book entitled "Principles of self-training", a book which inspired me to contact Mariano who, with a method simple, easy and very enjoyable achieved the target we aimed for. I think that with his help we still have many great result to achieve. Many thanks, Professor Mariano Garcia-Verdugo, for all your help. We will continue to walk hand in hand. Best Regards.

Testimonial6
I am an amateur marathon runner and live in Tenerife. I met Mariano in 2011 and since then he has been guiding me in the World of athletics. Thanks to him, I have once again enjoyed this sport, as he has shown me the advantages of detailed planning, even for an amateur like me, since you can avoid mistakes which could result in injuries. In addition to his vast knowledge as a coach, Mariano is a very experienced runner, and this results in an immediate personal connection and a very relaxed relationship which always takes your opinion into account. The summit of our training together for me has been taking part and completing the mountain ultramarathon TRANSVULCANIA 2012 over a distance of 84km with more than 8,000 altitude gain. I am sure this is the first of many!
